Speaking of, I think the job market here in San Diego is just dookie. I've decided that, for a time, I will succumb to the art beast inside and work on getting published. Getting published looks like a small obstacle course filled with lots of tall brick walls just perfect for banging my head against. I will, however, press on. I did learn to play the bagpipes- my forehead is already toughened on those brick walls.
